PORTO
The form of the Brick&More collection is inspired by the natural look of handmade bricks produced in earlier times. For this reason, the edges of the tiles are not perfectly straight. It would not be accurate to expect complete geometric symmetry in the Brick&More collection; slight variations in the edges and dimensions of the tiles are intentionally designed to create a more natural appearance. This surface variation results in a visually pleasing overall aesthetic once the product is applied. Used by humankind for thousands of years, this material has traditionally been laid using the stretcher bond technique. The herringbone pattern, examples of which can be seen in our catalog, is also an aesthetically appealing alternative. However, when tiles are installed too closely together with minimal joint spacing, the visual character of the product may not be fully appreciated. For this reason, a 1 cm joint gap is recommended.
